At Gales we have developed a range of twenty four traditional Country
Wines. Our wines, which range from
dry to medium to sweet, are ideal
to accompany meals or picnics. They are also delicious drunk on their
own. These wines can be mixed to make a spritzer, for a long cool
drink in the summer, or savoured more traditionally on their own,
either way they are truly excellent.
Our range of twenty four Country Wines reflect both the full-bodied berry flavours of yesteryear, and the more recent taste for lighter, drier, fruitier wines. We use ingredients natural to the English countryside wherever possible, although some are imported. For example, Cowslips are a protected species in the UK, so we source them from further afield.
Each wine is made to give a real country character. The wines are blended or steeped with grape juice and then held for varying periods to bring out the delightful flavours.
